Soulja Boy Set To Face Trial Over Allegations Of Ab*se & False Imprisonment By Ex-Assistant
Soulja Boy is set to go to trial next month in a case filed by his former assistant and romantic partner, who alleges sexual battery and false imprisonment.
The lawsuit, filed in 2021, will be heard in Los Angeles Superior Court on March 3.
The plaintiff, identified as Jane Doe, claims to have suffered physical and emotional harm from Soulja Boy’s alleged abusive behavior, which began in 2018 when she worked as his assistant.
She describes a relationship that turned violent, including physical assaults, sexual abuse, and threats. In court documents, she recounts being locked in a room for three days without hot water after attempting to leave, among other alleged abuse.
Soulja Boy denies the accusations, claiming any actions were consensual and asking for the lawsuit to be dismissed.
The trial is expected to last seven days, with both Jane and Soulja scheduled to testify.
