She shared:
“Yandy being the first person to come help me take a bath… I was so weak I couldn’t stand up. But the weakness wasn’t just in my body, it was in my mind.”
She continued:
“I was so broken… The way in which she helped me to get myself together, to stand up, to pray— we cried in that bathroom. It was such a testament to Black women’s ability to save one another.”
Yandy didn’t hesitate to return the love. The Love & Hip Hop Atlanta star reposted the clip and added a heartfelt caption:
“I would not have told a soul this, yet you speak my name in every room you enter with so much love and light. Blood couldn’t make me love you more than the tears we’ve bonded over. You are RARE. I needed a you as you needed a me. GOD DID!”
