Lizzo Reveals She Ditched Starbucks & Sugary Breakfast Foods Amid Weight Loss Journey

Lizzo is opening up about her weight loss journey after shedding 16% of her body fat.

On Tuesday (Apr. 22), the singer took to TikTok Live to share the changes she made to her diet and lifestyle, revealing that cutting out certain foods played a significant role in her transformation. For example, she explained she used to drink 2–3 Starbucks beverages a day, totaling around 1,200 calories. She’s since quit Starbucks and coffee entirely, now focusing on a “calories in versus calories out” approach.

Additionally, she’s been prioritizing savory foods in the morning instead of sugary ones.

On cutting out the habits she turned to while coping with anxiety, she shared, “I loved to distract myself with people… food… drinking… problems that I would create. I stopped doing that.”
