Shannon Sharpe Says R@pe Accuser Tried To Extort Him After He Refused To Have A Child w/ Her
Shannon Sharpe is firing back, claiming one of his accusers is only coming forward because he wouldn’t father her child.
In a new statement, Sharpe’s team says,
“Shannon and Gabi engaged in a consensual s*xual relationship over a 2-year period. When she learned that he would not father a child with her, she resorted to extortion.”
They added that while Sharpe initially agreed to pay her to keep private details out of the spotlight—“as many high-profile individuals often do when they are being thre@tened”—he now refuses to stay silent.
“This is a shakedown, pure and simple, and we have the evidence to prove it.”

That woman is suing Sharpe for $50 million, accusing him of rape.
Sharpe also addressed the recent resurfacing of a past civil complaint from another woman, Michele Evans, calling her r@pe accusations baseless:
“Ms. Evans became obsessed with Shannon and decided to manufacture a claim against him. The fact is that Shannon has had no contact with this person for many years, and it is our understanding that she is still on probation after serving 3 years in prison for trying to k*ll her husband so that she could hopefully pursue a relationship with Shannon.”
Sharpe’s counsel says both women are part of a pattern of people trying to “profit” from their connection to him, and he plans to fight back:
“Shannon has done nothing wrong and intends to fight back against these malicious lies… with documentary proof and real evidence.”
