Olympic Sprinter Noah Lyles Says He’s ‘Winging’ His Wedding Vows, Just As He Did When Proposing To Track & Field Star Junelle Bromfield

Olympic sprinter Noah Lyles is keeping it casual—even on his wedding day.

In a recent interview with The Knot Magazine, the six-time world champion revealed that he plans to “wing” his wedding vows, just like he did during his October 2023 proposal to Jamaican track and field star Junelle Bromfield. He shared:

“I have a bet going on with my brother’s girlfriend…I told her about two years ago that I would wing my vows—and I stand true to that.”

The couple shared a playful rehearsal moment during the interview, where Noah tried a practice round of his off-the-cuff vows. Junelle admitted he “did good,” though she’d be more comfortable if he wrote them down as she plans to do with her own.

“I most definitely will not [wing it]… I get nervous in big crowds, so I need to write my vows.” She stated.

Junelle, who’s a Commonwealth Games bronze medalist and Olympic finalist in the women’s 4x400m relay, has been dating Noah since connecting via DM back in 2017.

They also spilled more tea on their upcoming 2026 nuptials, including plans to incorporate Junelle’s Jamaican heritage and a compromise on guest count—Noah wanted 400 people, but they agreed on a more manageable 250.

Of course, the guest list will include plenty of track stars, with Olympians from as far back as the 1980s expected to attend.

Sounds like a gold medal celebration in the making!
