Gary Owen recently opened up about the fallout from a joke he made about cheating on his ex-wife, Kenya Duke, which became a key moment in their divorce.
While chatting with controversial comedian Andrew Schulz in a viral clip, Gary Owen revisited his rocky relationship with Kenya Duke and the infidelity that led to their split. Andrew Schulz played an old interview where Gary Owen claimed to have been happily married for 16 years, but when asked about his faithfulness, Owen laughed it off and didn’t respond.
Reflecting on the interview, Owen admitted he was caught off guard, noting,
“That came up in court, bro, that came up in court. We settled, but that came up in court.”
He also revealed that the video played during their divorce proceedings. Owen, who now looks back at the interview moment as “organic,” admitted that “the PTSD is real.”
Kenya Duke filed for divorce on March 19, 2021, sparking a public dispute over their reasons for splitting, which affected their children as well.
