The G-funk legend recently appeared on the Ugly Money podcast, where he opened up about being left out of the loop lately, especially during their 2022 Super Bowl Halftime performance. He stated:
“Snoop and Dre get down and they doing things, and it’s no diss to neither one of them or anything like that. But it’s like, y’all could call Warren to come do a cameo or come hang out or something. I don’t want no money or nothing from nobody. Just call me to be around.”
He also shared a personal moment about trying to get backstage during the California show — not to perform, but to let his son, former NFL player Olaijah Griffin, reconnect with Dre and Snoop.
“I was trying to get downstairs… I had my son with me and he was home from the NFL,” Warren recalled. “I couldn’t even get backstage. I called everybody I knew. Nobody would answer their phones.”
Warren made it clear it wasn’t about fame or a spot in the show — just a heartfelt moment he wanted to share with his family.
Let’s hope the trio are able to connect and rekindle things soon!
