Misa Hylton Shares Cryptic Post Amid $5 Million Lawsuit Against Mary J. Blige Accusing Her Of Sabotaging Her Business Relationship w/ Vado: ‘I Never Lost A Real Friend’
Misa Hylton Shares Cryptic Post Amid $5 Million Lawsuit Against Mary J. Blige Accusing Her Of Sabotaging Her Business Relationship w/ Vado: ‘I Never Lost A Real Friend’
Looks like Misa Hylton is sending a message.
The celebrity stylist took to Instagram with a pair of quotes just weeks after news broke that she, her agency, and rumored boyfriend Vado are suing Mary J Blige for $5 million.
In the first IG story, Misa Hylton reposted, “I never lost a real friend. Let that sink in.” She followed it with, “Not everyone from your history deserves a role in your future.”
As reported, Misa Hylton and Mary J. Blige were once friends and collaborators, but that friendship appears to have soured. According to the lawsuit,Mary J. Blige allegedly used her influence to isolate Vado and persuade him to cut ties with Misa’s talent agency, M.I.S.A Management. The suit claims Blige withheld Vado’s completed album and pressured him to sign a new management deal without legal counsel present. Her head of security, who is rumored to be her boyfriend, allegedly warned Vado he would “lose out on opportunities” if he remained with Misa’s team.
The pressure reportedly led to what the suit describes as “economic servitude,” with the plaintiffs now seeking damages for breach of contract, emotional distress, and business interference.
No word yet from Mary’s camp, but it looks like Misa is letting the quotes do the talking for now.
