DDG Says His Life Was Going ‘Too Good’ Before Halle Bailey’s Abu$e Claims
DDG says he felt like something bad was bound to happen… and then it did.
During a recent livestream, the rapper reflected on the state of his life before the abu$e allegations made by Halle Bailey.
“I was thinking like ‘my life is going too good right now,’” he told viewers. “My streaming taking off, I made a great album… everything is going amazing. I don’t know if I put negative energy in the air myself, but like… as I started growing faster and faster and things start happening … I kind of just expected something. I didn’t know what. Sh*t can only be good for so long.”
He added,
“I appreciate y’all sticking by my side and really supporting. I hate having people in my business … it is what it is though.”

This comes after Halle Bailey filed a restraining order against DDG, accusing him of physically a$$aulting her during a January custody exchange. A judge granted her temporary sole physical and legal custody of their child.
