24-Year-Old Man Arrested For Pretending To Be A Teen At Ohio High School
A 24-year-old man was arrested after posing as a 16-year-old student at an Ohio high school.
Authorities say Anthony Labrador Sierra contacted Perrysburg Schools in November 2023, claiming he was homeless, an immigrant, and a victim of human trafficking. He presented a Venezuelan birth certificate with a 2007 birthdate and began classes in January 2024.
Kathy and Brad Melfred, who had housed exchange students in the past, were contacted about Labrador and agreed to take him in by March 2024.

In May, a woman named Evelyn Camacho contacted the couple, claiming he was actually 24 years old and the father of her child. She provided a copy of his real ID and Facebook photos as proof.
Police said they contacted the United States Border Patrol, who confirmed Labrador’s actual birthdate as March 2001 and noted that his work visa had expired.
He was arrested Monday (May 19) on forgery charges. His next court date is May 29.
