Comedian Kathy Griffin Says She’s ‘Fearful’ For LGBTQ+ Community Ahead Of Pride Month: ‘This Administration Will Stop At Nothing’
Kathy Griffin is sounding the alarm as Pride Month approaches.
When asked by TMZ what message she had for the LGBTQ+ community, the comedian didn’t hold back:
“Pay attention politically. We should be marching in the streets daily. I’m fearful, as an ally of the community for decades, that it may not be safe to even walk down the street as a gay American these days. So please, protest, protest, protest. This administration will stop at nothing to take down the #LGBT+ community.”

Her comments come amid concerns over President Donald Trump’s rollback of trans protections, including requiring federal documents to reflect sex assigned at birth, threatening to cut funding to states that allow trans athletes to compete among cisgender athletes, and a trans military ban upheld by the Supreme Court.
