Rihanna Reportedly Rushed To Be w/ Her Father As He Passed Away Following Undisclosed Illness
Prayers up for Rihanna and the entire Fenty family.
According to Starcom Network News, a radio station based in Rihanna’s hometown of Barbados, the pop star and her loved ones are mourning the loss of her father, Ronald Fenty, who sadly passed away yesterday (May 31) following a “brief illness” at the age of 70.
Reports say the singer rushed to Los Angeles to be by her father’s side ahead of his passing. Her brother, Rajad Fenty, was reportedly photographed arriving at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center in L.A. on Wednesday (May 28). TMZ states Rihanna was also in the vehicle but was not captured on camera.

While Rihanna and her father had a complicated relationship, at one point becoming estranged and even involved in a lawsuit, she shared that they had eventually reconciled.
Details surrounding the nature of Ronald’s passing have not been disclosed, though sources say he was surrounded by family when he took his final breath.
Sending love and strength to Rihanna and her family during this time.
