‘Love Island USA’ Contestant Yulissa Escobar Abruptly Removed From Show Amid Backlash Over Resurfaced Video Of Her Using The N-Word
Love Island USA Season 7 contestant Yulissa Escobar’s time on the popular dating series was very short-lived.
On Wednesday night’s episode (June 4), it was announced that the influencer had been quietly removed from the show on the second night, with the narrator simply stating, “Yulissa has left the villa,” offering no further explanation.
According to reports, Yulissa had been facing intense backlash since the season debuted on Peacock on June 3rd, after podcast clips resurfaced of her using the n-word.

Viewers quickly flooded Yulissa’s and Love Island’s social media pages, calling for her removal and pledging to vote her off. It seems the outcry was received loud and clear by the show’s producers. Many even reacted joyfully to news of her sudden exit.
As of now, neither Yulissa nor the show has released an official statement about her departure. The season is continuing with the remaining cast members as they search for love and compete for the $100,000 grand prize.
What are your thoughts on Yulissa’s early exit from the villa?
