Ryan Coogler’s ‘Eyes Of Wakanda’ Animated Series Teases Stunning Visuals In First Trailer [VIDEO]
The wait to return to Wakanda is almost over!
Marvel Studios just released the first teaser for Eyes of Wakanda, a brand-new animated series coming to Disney+ on August 27. The trailer showcases stunning visuals and hints at epic battles, rich history, and the action-packed missions fans have come to expect from the iconic franchise.
Described as a historical spy-thriller with a Wakandan twist, the series follows a disgraced Dora Milaje warrior on a mission to recover stolen Vibranium artifacts, interwoven with stories from different warriors across generations and eras of time.

Ryan Coogler developed the series and served as an executive producer. Showrunner Todd Harris calls the animation “anthology adjacent,” revealing that while each episode tells a standalone tale, they’re all connected by one overarching narrative.
The voice cast is stacked, including Cress Williams, Winnie Harlow, Patricia Belcher, Lynn Whitfield, and House of the Dragon’s Steve Toussaint. Disney legend Anika Noni Rose also lends her voice to a key role, one Harris says is so iconic,
“I want to get a toy made of [her]. She came in there like an archangel and just blew the scene away.”
