The TV icon was seen in NYC chatting with @speakyourfit while rocking a black and white silk short set. She appeared to be in good spirits and, unlike previous sightings, was not in a wheelchair.

This public appearance comes as Wendy continues to challenge her court-ordered guardianship. As previously reported, she’s currently living in an assisted living facility in NYC, under supervision due to concerns about her mental health and finances.

Wendy, along with her family and fans, has been vocal about wanting the guardianship reversed.
