Kehlani Speaks Out After Unfollowing Chrisean Rock On Instagram: ‘I Separated […] For My Own Reason’

Kehlani is clearing the air after social media users noticed she unfollowed Chrisean Rock shortly after the two were spotted working out together.

TikTok creator NosyBystander pointed out that Chrisean and her friends had recently been filmed confronting a man outside an apartment building, with one of them threatening to call ICE… sparking backlash amid ongoing conversation around Trump’s immigration policies. Some speculated that the video may have influenced Kehlani’s decision to distance herself.

Now, Kehlani is responding directly in the comments under that TikTok.

“She came up to me at church and asked to come to the gym, came to the gym the next day. i thought it was the kind thing to do. i don’t keep up with any of this,” she wrote.

Kehlani continued:

“idk when this apartment situation was, but absolutely not the same day. i separated quite literally the next day for my own reason. you can keep me right on out of it. you know i don’t play this at all.”
