Update: (Jul 21, 2025 ): Malcolm-Jamal Warner, the beloved actor best known for playing Theo Huxtable on The Cosby Show, died from drowning, according to Costa Rican authorities.
Officials say the 54-year-old was caught in a strong current near Cocles Beach in Limon on Sunday (July 20). He was later identified by the country’s national police. Malcolm’s official cause of death was asphyxia.
