Tyler Perry Recalls Firing His Aunt For Missing Work & Denying A Family Member’s Request For $1 Million
Tyler Perry opened up about a family situation that many might relate to.
On Kirk Franklin’s podcast Den Of Kings, he shared that he once gave his aunt a job after she kept asking him for money. However, she rarely showed up to work. Tyler explained that he felt she wanted to keep receiving money without putting in the effort, and that approach didn’t sit right with him. He said,
“You want me to hand you the money, but you don’t want to work for it. That doesn’t work for me. I don’t believe in giving us things that are just going to handicap us.”
Tyler also revealed that another family member got upset with him after he refused to give them a million dollars.
