Kristin Cabot Resigns As Astronomer HR Chief After Kiss-Cam Scandal w/ Married CEO Andy Byron At Coldplay Concert
Kristin Cabot has officially stepped down from her role as head of HR at Astronomer following a workplace scandal that erupted after she was caught kissing CEO Andy Byron at a Coldplay concert.
A spokesperson for Astronomer confirmed the news to TMZ, saying, “Kristin Cabot is no longer with Astronomer — she’s resigned.”
Her resignation comes just days after Byron quit his position as CEO amid the controversy. The incident triggered an internal investigation, as both were seen getting intimate in footage obtained by TMZ. The situation is especially volatile given that Byron is married to Megan Kerrigan Byron, who has since removed his last name from her social media.
Despite the drama, Astronomer insists operations are moving forward. Pete DeJoy has stepped in as interim CEO and is focused on steering the company past the fallout.
