Eric Orwoll, Founder Of Whites-Only Community Group, Calls For ‘Separate But Equal’ Cultural Centers + Claims Diversity Threatens European Heritage
Eric Orwoll, co-founder of the whites-only group Return to the Land, defended the controversial Arkansas community during an appearance on TMZ Live, claiming it’s about preserving European heritage—not racism.
Orwoll said, “White people value European heritage,” and believes that diversity threatens “pure cultural ancestry.” He argues different races should invest in their own community centers, stating, “Black and Jewish people [should] build their own—no whites allowed.”
RTTL is reportedly expanding to Missouri and other states. Though federal law prohibits housing discrimination, Orwoll says the group is trying to operate legally “via exceptions written into it.”
While the group encourages applications from white, American-born individuals, he claims anyone can apply, with decisions made “case-by-case.”
Orwoll denied parallels to historic segregation, calling past practices involuntary and asserting, “Forced integration is a problem.”
He says people shouldn’t be required to live among those with different cultural backgrounds.
Arkansas Attorney General Tim Griffin strongly condemned RTTL, declaring, “Racism has no place in the state.” Orwoll maintains they are not racist—but firmly anti-diversity.
