Delta Co-Pilot Rustom Bhagwagar Arrested Mid-Airport Raid For Alleged S*x Crimes After Landing In San Francisco
A Delta Airlines copilot was arrested moments after landing a packed flight at San Francisco International Airport. According to the Contra Costa County Sheriff’s Office, the copilot—identified as Rustom Bhagwagar—was taken into custody Saturday night following an investigation into alleged s*x crimes against a child.
Authorities say the investigation began in April 2025 after receiving information about oral copulation with a child under 10. Bhagwagar was arrested on five felony counts and is being held on $5 million bail.
A sheriff’s spokesperson told TMZ detectives coordinated with federal agents after learning Bhagwagar would be arriving on a flight from Minneapolis. Around 9:30 PM, federal agents stormed the Delta aircraft, making their way directly to the cockpit.
Passenger accounts described a dramatic scene. One told the San Francisco Chronicle the agents “pushed their way through the aisle” and handcuffed the copilot before escorting him off the plane through cabin doors between first and coach. Another team then boarded to retrieve his belongings.
Fox News’ Bill Melugin reported a senior federal source confirmed Bhagwagar was detained over alleged possession of child ab*se material.
