Young Money President Mack Maine Mourns Death Of His 20-Year-Old Son Isaiah ‘Zeke’ Following Fatal Seizure: ‘You’ll Always Be My Prince’
Young Money president Mack Maine is grieving the loss of his 20-year-old son, Isaiah “Zeke,” who passed away from a seizure on July 16 at his California home.
The New Orleans rapper says he is still in shock and trying to make sense of the tragedy, sharing that it has left him confused and questioning why his son died before him.
“Thank you for making me a father,” he wrote. “It’s one of the greatest gifts I’ve ever received.” Mack says Zeke was his biggest motivation, the reason he got out of bed each day. “Your smile brightened my dark days,” he added. “Your soul was made of innocence and your heart was pure.”
The loss has devastated his family, and Mack Maine admitted, “It’s a pain I’ve never felt before.”
He chose to share the news on his own birthday, which is also the anniversary of his father’s passing. “Hug your loved ones,” he urged.
