Offset Seemingly Reflects On What Led To Cardi B Split In New Song ‘Move On’: ‘You Never Cooked N****s No Food’
Offset appears to be opening up about his breakup with Cardi B on his new tune, “Move On.”
Without naming his soon-to-be ex-wife directly, the rapper reflects on wanting to “move on in peace” from a relationship, while also sharing some pointed lyrics about what went wrong.
In one part of the song, Offset raps: “Walkin’ right past, I don’t know you / You never listen to no rules /
You never cooked n****as no food.”

Later, he adds: “Tellin’ me s** that you don’t do / Tellin’ me s*** that you won’t do / You f***ed around with the wrong dude.”
Cardi B and Offset’s breakup has played out in a series of heated online exchanges since Cardi filed for divorce last summer. The two share three young children, and Cardi has since moved on to a relationship with NFL star Stefon Diggs.
