Ex-NFL Star Thomas Davis’ Estranged Wife Claims Self-Defense After Arrest For Attacking His Alleged New Girlfriend

Retired NFLer #ThomasDavis is back in the spotlight. His estranged wife, Kelly Davis, was arrested on Sept. 3 after allegedly attacking chiropractor Laura Watterson, the woman rumored to be involved with Thomas. The altercation took place in late August at Watterson’s #Charlotte office, where Kelly confronted her during a patient visit, shouted accusations, and struck her in the chest. As Watterson escorted her out, Kelly allegedly knocked off her glasses and hit her again.

Kelly admitted to being involved in the altercation but claimed she acted in self-defense after Watterson grabbed her arm. She denied jealousy, insisting she has no interest in reconciling with Thomas. Kelly also appeared to reference the incident on IG, captioning her latest post:

“August swung, I swung back.”

Jealousy or not, Kelly was hit with a misdemeanor a$$ault and battery charge. Thomas and Kelly married in 2008, and, after Kelly accused Thomas of infidelity, separated in March 2024. They share two children.
