Kodak Black’s Attorney Says Rapper Was Drinking Juice, NOT Lean, In Driving Video

The Florida rapper recently shared a video of himself driving on Miami’s I-95 while appearing to sip cough syrup through a straw and bragging about “sippin’ dat drank raw.” Naturally, the clip sparked widespread concern from fans, as many believed he was consuming lean behind the wheel. Lean, a highly addictive concoction, is normally made by mixing prescription-strength cough syrup with soda.

However, Kodak’s lawyer, Bradford Cohen, told TMZ there was no need to worry because he was just trolling and had actually replaced the cough syrup with juice before recording.
