Miguel is setting the record straight on those pesky cheating rumors.

In a new interview with The Breakfast Club, #Miguel addressed rumors suggesting he fathered a child with another woman, former #VogueChina editor Margaret Zhang, while married to model #NazaninMandi. Miguel and Nazanin were together for 17 years and got married in 2018. They divorced four years later in 2022. After their split, news of Miguel welcoming a child with Margaret sparked speculation that he had cheated on Nazanin.

When asked about fans who were disappointed that he had a child with someone other than his ex-wife, Miguel said, “Well, it’s not new. Definitely not new to me.” He continued, slamming those who fueled cheating allegations, “I have to say this, the f*cked-up part is that people start doing the wrong math. The one thing I did not do is start a relationship while I was married and then had a baby.”

The Sure Thing singer added, “I got divorced–and I’m going to say this straight up–Everybody out there talking sh*t like I was still in a marriage and then I had a baby or I was having an affair all this time. I met my son’s mom after we were divorced. I met her at an event that we were not even supposed to go to. That was well after we were done.”
