Janet Hubert, The Original Aunt Viv, Will Join “Bel-Air” Last For 4th & Final
Talk about a full-circle moment!
Beloved actress #JanetHubert is officially returning to familiar territory. Hubert, who played the original #AuntViv on The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air, is joining the fourth and final season of Bel-Air, the reimagined version of the popular ’90s sitcom. According to Deadline, Hubert will portray a “wise woman” who connects with Coco Jones’ Hilary Banks and becomes a pivotal figure for the Banks family.
Her cameo comes amid a broader wave of original cast members returning in new roles for #BelAir, offering longtime fans both nostalgia and fresh twists. It also follows her reconciliation with #WillSmith. During their feud, Smith had her role replaced by Daphne Maxwell Reid. Thankfully, in 2020, they were able to put their differences aside.
Season four of Bel-Air is set to premiere on November 24. Are you sad to see this series come to an end?
