Drake Seemingly Agrees That Sexyy Red Is An ‘Upgrade’ From Ex Serena Williams
One thing about #Drake, he never misses a chance to throw a little shade.
The Toronto superstar popped out on Instagram today (Nov. 18) with new photos alongside fellow rapper and close friend #SexyyRed. Under the post, a fan commented that Sexyy Red is an “upgrade” from #SerenaWilliams. Drake didn’t directly reply to the jab, but he did like the comment, a subtle move that many believe signals he agreed with the shade.
If you’ve been keeping up with our posts, you know that this isn’t the first time Drake has taken aim at his ex. He dated Serena on and off from 2011 to 2015, and in 2022, he referenced her and her hubby, #AlexisOhanian, in his track “Middle of the Ocean,” rapping: “Sidebar, Serena, your husband a groupie / He claim we don’t got a problem but / No, boo, it is like you comin’ for sushi.”
Chile… we all remember what happened the last time Drake threw shade at Serena, she ended up on stage during #KendrickLamar’s Super Bowl halftime show. So who knows how she might respond to him this time around.
