Kandi Burruss Files for Divorce from Todd Tucker After 11 Years
Kandi Burruss and Todd Tucker are ending their marriage after more than a decade together. The Real Housewives of Atlanta alum confirmed that she has decided to file for divorce from her husband of 11 years in an exclusive statement shared on Nov. 21, 2025.
“After deep thought and a lot of prayer, I’ve made the decision to move forward with a divorce. This is a difficult and emotional time, but my focus remains on protecting my peace, being the best mother I can be, and co-parenting with love and respect,” Burruss said in her statement.
“I’m stepping into a new chapter pouring into my work, my family, and my own growth. I’m grateful to everyone who supported us throughout the years, and I ask for privacy, grace, and understanding as we navigate this transition with our family,” she added. Burruss, 49, and Tucker, 52, first met in 2011 while she was filming the fourth season of The Real Housewives of Atlanta, where Tucker was working behind the scenes as a producer. They got engaged in January 2013 and were married in April 2014. The pair share two children together — son Ace, 9, and daughter Blaze, 5 — and each also has an older daughter from previous relationships: Burruss’ daughter Riley, 20, and Tucker’s daughter Kaela, 26.
