Kandi Burruss Praised Todd Tucker For ‘Surviving’ Reality Television In Her BravoCon Speech Just Days Before Announcing Their Divorce

Just days before publicly announcing the end of her marriage, Kandi Burruss thanked her husband Todd Tucker during her BravoCon speech.

While accepting The Bravos’ Wifetime Achievement Award on November 14, Burruss saluted her “Kandi coated clique” and then offered a warm acknowledgment to Tucker.

“To Todd, thank you for surviving the blogs, the shade, the rumors, the lies, the truth, the almost fights, the actual fights, the reunions,” she said with a laugh. “You earned this award too.”

She went on to praise her mom and aunts for giving Bravo “way more drama than they deserve” and celebrated daughter Riley for bringing “that Burruss heat” to Next Gen NYC. Tucker later commented on Bravo’s post of the speech, writing, “Much deserved, you did it with class and dignity. You’re the GOAT.”

A week later, Burruss confirmed she is moving forward with a divorce, calling it “a difficult and emotional time” as she focuses on peace, family and a new chapter.

It’s unknown why the couple chose to split, but it seems things are amicable between the two.
