The rapper recently took to X and pushed for Geffen Records and Universal Music Group (#UMG) to release her Car Wash song with #ChristinaAguilera on streaming platforms. The tune is a part of the #SharkTale soundtrack. Missy said, “@UMG @GeffenRecords the fans tagged me wanting to know why the song “Car Wash” on #Sharktale soundtrack not on some streaming sites…Can you please help out because many of them have been asking as you can see and miss it.”
In a follow-up post, she explained her demand and added, “I asked because the fans were tagging me about it. I didn’t even know it wasn’t on the streaming platforms so I was asking for the fans.”
