Russell Simmons Reflects On Taking Trump To A Mosque In NYC, Says ‘There Is Always Common Ground’
#RussellSimmons had a special message to share this early this morning.
The record executive shared a throwback image of himself alongside President #DonaldTrump and Imam Shamsi Ali, a prominent Muslim leader in NYC, captioning the image, “Still remember that time i took the president to the mosque to meet the great imam shamsi ali who is the most prominent Imam in nyc.”
Russell continued, “I wish more Americans took the time to visit a mosque or read a Quran Instead of judging “The other “ Christians and Muslims have lots in common and share the same values But Jews and Muslims are even more so “the same” GOD IS LOVE ”. He ended his message with. “I’m praying for peace And interfaith dialogue is critical We must always push for dialogue always .. there is always common ground and a bridge to build.”
