[Update] Michigan Coach Sherrone Moore Was Exposed By Staffer Who Presented University w/ Receipts Of Their Alleged Relationship
More information has emerged about the scandal involving former University of Michigan head coach Sherrone Moore, including claims that the staffer at the center of the controversy delivered “receipts” to administrators just hours before his firing.
Journalist John U. Bacon reported that the woman arrived at the Administration Building on the morning of December 10 with text messages, emails, and documents outlining their alleged relationship and the conflicts it created.
Bacon told “Good Day Detroit” that the evidence pushed university leaders to act quickly, with athletic director Warde Manuel firing Moore shortly after noon. Later that afternoon, Moore allegedly “broke into” the staffer’s home, grabbed a knife, and threatened harm before being taken into protective custody.
TMZ Sports released 911 audio in which Moore’s wife said he was “s*icidal,” while the alleged victim claimed he had been “stalking her for months.”
Moore remains in custody as the investigation continues.
