Tyrese Jokes About Looking Like a ‘Robbery Suspect’ While Dropping a Bag at Jimmy Choo for Girlfriend Zelie Timothy
Tyrese had a little fun — and spent a lot of money — during a recent shopping trip at a Jimmy Choo store, joking that staff may have briefly mistaken him for a robber due to his all-black hoodie-and-mask look.
In a photo he shared on Instagram, the singer is seen standing at the counter with a towering stack of shoe boxes, later quipping in the caption, “They definitely thought I came in there to rob the place… I never took my mask or hoodie off.”
Despite the tongue-in-cheek commentary, Tyrese made it clear the trip was all love — and all luxury — adding that he “Jimmy Choo’d up” his credit card because “the Queen wants for nothing,” referring to his girlfriend, model Zelie Timothy.
He went on to publicly lobby the high-fashion brand, tagging Jimmy Choo and expressing hope that they’ll dress Timothy “from head to toe” for this year’s Vanity Fair Oscar Afterparty, noting how much she loves the brand and how the clothes and shoes make her feel.
Tyrese closed out the post with humor, admitting, “I need help lol,” while Timothy responded in the comments with heart-eye emojis — seemingly approving both the splurge and the public praise.
