No Means No: Trump Continues Diddy
No Means No: Trump Continues To Deny He’s Considering A Pardon For Diddy
#DonaldTrump and Sean “Diddy” Combs just can’t seem to get on the same page.
Trump has once again confirmed that he has no plans to pardon Diddy. Back in November, sources told TMZ that the music mogul had been bragging to fellow inmates that Trump would grant him clemency in early 2026. This came after the White House shut down previous rumors of Trump intervening, and now the president appears to be sticking by his initial no.
The reality star-turned-politician told The New York Times that, although he received a letter from #Diddy requesting a pardon, he is not considering granting it, effectively signaling that the rapper will have to serve his sentence. Diddy’s 50-month prison term stems from a conviction on pro$titution-related charges.
While #Trump has declined to step in, Diddy’s legal team filed for an expedited appeal in late December, seeking immediate release and a reversal of his conviction. If the appeal succeeds, he could be home sooner than expected; if not, he is projected to complete his sentence and be free sometime in 2028.
