[UPDATE] Pooh Shiesty’s Record Label Clarifies He’s NOT Back In Jail
#PoohShiesty’s team wants to set the record straight.
His record label has clarified that Shiesty is not currently in jail, despite recent reports suggesting otherwise. The confusion began after his real name, Lontrell D. Williams, appeared in Federal Bureau of Prisons records with a listed release date of April 11, 2026, leading many to believe he had been taken back into custody following his early October release from a federal sentence.
However, the label has pushed back on that narrative, confirming in a conversation with DJ Akademiks that “he’s still free and is still on home confinement until April.” Akademiks further explained the listing, noting the label informed him that Shiesty has “always been listed as reporting to the Dallas halfway house since his release, and since he’s on home confinement, it will remain that way until April.”
