Kim Kardashian Says Wesley Snipes ‘Saved My Life’ At 17 After Late-Night Club Scare In NYC: ‘He Fully Fathered Me’
Kim Kardashian is reflecting on a moment from her teenage years that she says could have changed her life — and she credits actor Wesley Snipes for stepping in at just the right time.
During a recent appearance on Khloé Kardashian’s “Khloé in Wonderland” podcast, Kim shared an unexpected story involving the “Blade” star, recalling an encounter that happened when she was just 17 years old while visiting New York City with older friends.
“I just want to say, Wesley Snipes saved my life,” Kim said, emphasizing that Snipes likely has no idea who she is or the impact he had. “He doesn’t know this story. He has no clue who I was.”
Kim explained that after going to a club and later a house party, she lost the $20 her friend had given her for a cab and was preparing to leave without a ride — at a time when, as Khloé noted, “people didn’t carry mobile phones.” That’s when she ran into Snipes in the building.
“So, I’m walking out, and I don’t know if Wesley Snipes lived in the building or what, but he was there,” Kim recalled. After asking him for help getting home, he agreed, but told her, “Sure, but we’re going to have to stop for breakfast.”
Over eggs and pancakes, Kim said Snipes firmly but calmly corrected her behavior, telling her she was “too young” to be out so late and shouldn’t be attending clubs or house parties. “He saved my life, he schooled the f**k out of me. He fully fathered me, and I have never forgot that,” she said.
Kim added that she’s never seen Snipes again but hopes the message reaches him. “Shout-out to Wesley Snipes,” she said. “I hope this message gets to you.”
Kudos to Wesley for being a safe space for Kim??
