Chiefs Player Rashee Rice Accused Of Headbutting, Strangling & Hitting Ex-Girlfriend In Explosive Lawsuit
Kansas City Chiefs wide receiver #RasheeRice is facing a new legal battle as his longtime girlfriend and mother of his two children, Dacoda Jones, has filed a civil lawsuit alleging severe abuse.
According to the complaint filed this week in district court and obtained by TMZ, Rice “continued to repeatedly [assault] Dacoda Jones over the course of their relationship.” His ex accuses the NFL star of choking, strangling, scratching, hitting, and headbutting her over a 19?month period between December 2023 and July 2025.
In addition to those allegations, Jones says Rice exhibited “other violent and abusive behaviors,” including throwing objects at her, “punching walls, and breaking furniture,” and that she suffered “bleeding, swelling, bruising, and other pain and physical injury” to multiple parts of her body. She also alleges that many of the incidents occurred while she was pregnant. Jones shared images of her injuries allegedly from Rice last month on IG, her lawsuit seeks more than $1 million in damages. The NFL is reportedly investigating her claims. While Rice has yet to speak on the matter publicly, he did launch a new relationship with #RubiRose on Valentine’s Day.
