Janet Jackson & Louis Farrakhan’s Son Mustapha Fuel Romance Speculation After Being Spotted At Detroit Concert
Janet Jackson has the internet talking after she was spotted getting cozy with a familiar face during a recent concert stop.
The music icon is sparking dating speculation after being seen with Mustapha Farrakhan, son of Nation of Islam leader Louis Farrakhan and the NOI’s supreme captain. The pair most recently attended the New Edition, Toni Braxton and Boyz II Men tour stop in Detroit, where they were seen enjoying the show together. While neither has confirmed a romance, they’ve reportedly been spotted together multiple times over the past year.
Jackson, who tends to keep her private life under wraps, was previously married to billionaire businessman Wissam Al Mana. The two wed in 2012 and share a son, Eissa, before splitting in 2017. Before that, she was married to René Elizondo Jr., whom she once described to Ebony in 1993 as her “best friend.”
Mustapha’s late wife, Karen, passed away in 2024. Reflecting on his devotion, student Minister Ishmael wrote, “I’ve never seen a husband care for his wife like Mustapha and his children. He did an outstanding, marvelous job. He learned a little bit about nursing.”
For now, fans are watching closely.
