Kandi Burruss Says Her ‘Spicy’ Past Makes Her ‘Afraid’ To Date Because Of Bedroom Expectations: I Have To Build Up A Trust’
#KandiBurruss is taking her time as she moves into the next chapter of her life.
During an interview with Sherri Shepherd, the #Broadway actress revealed that she’s “afraid” to start dating again because of the bedroom expectations some people might have. Kandi admitted that while she usually ignores people sliding in her DMs, the messages are there. “People already know, I’m a little spicy…but that doesn’t mean I want to do that on day one of meeting them,” Kandi expressed.
She also clarified that owning an adult toy line doesn’t mean she’s bringing the trinkets along on a first date.
After sharing some of the simple things she enjoys doing, Kandi added, “It’s times I like to be spicy in the bedroom, but like I said, I have to build up a trust.” Following 11 years, Kandi filed to end her marriage to #ToddTucker in November 2025. Their divorce has yet to be finalized.
