[UPDATE] Gayle King To Stay w/ “CBS Mornings” For Foreseeable Future
#GayleKing isn’t taking her talents to a new media outlet.
The veteran journalist has signed a deal to stay with CBS News for the foreseeable future and continue as anchor of CBS Mornings, ending months of uncertainty about her future at the network. The contract renewal keeps King, one of CBS’s most recognizable faces, in place as the news division navigates leadership changes and a broader shake-up under its current editor in chief, Bari Weiss.
It also comes after #AndersonCooper shockingly announced he was leaving CBS’s 60 Minutes. His departure is set to take place at the end of the current season in May.
