Composer Labrinth Slams ‘Euphoria,’ Says “F- Columbia” – Declares “I’m Done With This Industry”
Labrinth is sparking concern among fans after posting a blunt message online that appears to criticize both the music business and the HBO series he helped make famous.
In a social media post, the artist — who composed the score for Euphoria — didn’t hold back when addressing his frustrations. “I’m done with this industry,” he wrote, before adding, “F— Columbia.”
Labrinth also took aim at the hit HBO series itself, writing “Double f— Euphoria” in the same message. The post ended with a dramatic sign-off: “I’m out. Thank you and good night.”
The British musician has been a central part of Euphoria’s identity since the show debuted, crafting its distinctive soundtrack and score. His work on the series even earned him an Emmy Award for Outstanding Original Music and Lyrics for the song “All for Us.”
The comments have fueled speculation that Labrinth could be stepping away from the entertainment industry entirely, though he has not publicly clarified the message.
The post comes as Euphoria prepares for its long-anticipated third season, which is expected to premiere in 2026.
