Halle Berry Says She’s ‘Honored’ To Be Name-Dropped In So Many Rap Songs
#HalleBerry just might be the leading lady of hip hop.
A TikToker who goes by the username NoBadBars recently shared a video highlighting the many times actress Halle Berry has been name-dropped in rap songs. It’s no secret she’s been mentioned in tracks spanning decades, with shoutouts from #MissyElliott, Biggie, Hurricane Chris, Future, #Drake, #WakaFlocka, and more. The viral TikTok video, which has nearly 3 million views on the app, was also shared to X and caught the attention of Halle herself.
Reacting to the post and the ongoing love from the hip hop community, Halle said, “I’m never not honored by this.” She previously addressed the countless shoutouts in a 2021 interview, saying, “I think of these references, like my children, in a way. There’s no way I could pick one.” She added, “I love all these artists. I’m always flattered when any one of them include me, and that they still remember me, or even know who I am. So, to pick one would be like picking my daughter over my son. I love them all.”
#TJBCrew, what’s your favorite Halle Berry rap song mention? Is there another woman referenced more than her in hip hop?
