Uncle Luke Brings Jay-Z Into His Run For Congress: I Got Him By A Mile, But I Love Him’
Uncle Luke says he has nothing but love for #JayZ.
In a recent campaign post for his run for Congress, Uncle Luke, born Luther Roderick Campbell, wrote: “Born fighter. Businessman. Community servant. Always fighting for the underserved — the voice of the voiceless. Jay-Z said he made a lot of millionaires… I got him by a mile. But I love him. That’s my guy.”
Last month, #UncleLuke officially announced his bid for Florida’s 20th Congressional District. “After decades of fighting for my community—from defending free speech in the courtroom all the way to the United States Supreme Court, to building businesses that created jobs across the South, to mentoring and coaching thousands of young people into college—I have officially decided to run for Congress in Florida’s 20th District. My first order of business is to qualify by petition and let the people speak,” he said. He added that his top priorities include job creation, affordable housing, and investing in youth programs.
#TJBCrew, do you think Jay-Z would throw his support behind Uncle Luke’s campaign?
