[UPDATE] Florida Woman Accused Of Firing Multiple Shots At Rihanna’s Home Pleads Not Guilty To Attempted M*rder
The Florida woman accused of opening fire at #Rihanna’s home is maintaining her innocence.
As reported, Ivanna Lisette Ortiz, 35, from #Orlando, was hit with attempted m*rder, 10 counts of a$$ault with a semi-automatic fire@rm, and three counts of sh**ting at an inhabited dwelling earlier this month. In addition to pleading not guilty to attempted m*rder, Ortiz has also pleaded not guilty to the other felony counts. Ortiz’s attorney entered the plea for her while she remained mostly silent in custody, only speaking to waive her right to a speedy preliminary hearing. Her legal team asked that the $1.9 million bail be slashed to $70,000, but the judge denied the request.
The crazy incident went down on March 8 at Rihanna’s Beverly Hills home. Law enforcement sources said the singer and her family were on the property when about 20 rounds were allegedly fired from a white Tesla parked across the street. One bullet made it through the wall, and others hit the property’s gate and an RV outside. Police tracked the car south on Coldwater Canyon Drive and arrested Ortiz roughly 30 minutes later at a Sherman Oaks shopping center. Inside her car, authorities found an a$$ault rifle and seven casings. If Ortiz is convicted on all counts, she could be looking at life behind bars.
