Wu-Tang Clan Fans Offered Refunds After Method Man & Other Key Members Miss
Tour Stops
Fans attending Wu-Tang Clan’s Australian tour dates are being given the option to get their money back after several key members failed to appear onstage.
The backlash stems from the group’s Brisbane show on March 25, where Method Man, Raekwon, Cappadonna and Young Dirty Bastard were noticeably absent despite the tour being promoted as featuring “all living members.” Following the controversy, ticketing company Ticketek confirmed that fans who no longer wish to attend the Sydney and Melbourne shows can request refunds.
“We want to make fans aware that due to unforeseen circumstances, a couple of members will be unable to join the remaining tour dates in Melbourne and Sydney,” the company said. “Wu-Tang Clan will be performing and bringing everything that has made them one of the most iconic live acts in hip-hop history.”
The refund offer comes after fans flooded social media with complaints, with one writing they were “bitterly disappointed” and “feeling ripped off” over the missing performers.
