Trump Takes Down Social Media Image Seemingly Depicting Him As Jesus Following Backlash, Claims He Thought It Was Him ‘As A Doctor’
President #Trump has removed a controversial post from his social media that he shared roughly 13 hours ago.
Early Monday morning (Apr. 13), Trump shared an AI-generated photo that appeared to depict him as a Jesus-like figure healing a sick white man while other white Americans watched. It didn’t take long for many to call Trump out over the post, prompting it to be pulled. Addressing the issue at an unscheduled news conference at the White House, Trump acknowledged he posted the image but said he thought it was a picture of him as a “doctor.” He continued, claiming the image had to do with the Red Cross, and added, “and I do make people better. I make people a lot better.”
