King Harris Arrest Footage Shows T.I. Rushing To Scene To Retrieve Car & Alleged G*n
Newly released body camera footage is shedding light on the arrest of King Harris in Georgia, capturing the moments leading up to and following the incident involving the rapper’s son.
According to footage released by Gwinnett County, officers pulled King over for “doing over 75 MPH in a 45” while driving a Cybertruck. During the stop, King—wearing a Pikachu onesie—told officers he was unaware he was speeding but refused multiple requests to exit the vehicle.
Officers can be heard explaining that they were attempting to separate him from a firearm allegedly inside the car. After several refusals and phone calls to his attorney, King was ultimately taken into custody for willful obstruction of law enforcement officers.
Police then used King’s phone to contact someone to retrieve the vehicle and weapon from the scene. T.I. later arrived and asked officers if the situation could be resolved on-site, but authorities declined.
King was booked on a felony possession charge, a misdemeanor obstruction charge, and cited for speeding and a seatbelt violation.
