Media Personality Ebro Darden Believes Ice Spice’s McDonald’s Fight May Have Been Staged For ‘Promo’
Doubts are continuing to swirl around Ice Spice’s viral McDonald’s altercation, with radio host Ebro Darden now openly questioning whether the incident was staged. During a recent episode of “The Ebro Laura Rosenberg Show,” co-host Laura Styles recapped the moment, saying, “She was just with her homegirl, just eating a little cheeseburger, and then she just came up.”
Ebro quickly challenged that version, asking, “So Ice Spice just sits in a Hollywood McDonald’s without security?”
Styles suggested security may have been nearby, but Ebro wasn’t convinced.
“That’s also kind of what made me feel like this might be, kind of promo, too,” he said. “Y’all know I be looking for promo. Ice Spice needs promo right now… I feel like it was wrestling.” He added, “Y’all believe in that? I’m not buying it.”
The footage, first shared by TMZ, shows a woman approaching the rapper before slapping her, sparking a brief scuffle.
Do you think the altercation was staged?
