NBA Veteran Charles Barkley Reveals Michael Jordan Reunion After 10-Year Feud: We’re Going To Get Together & Play Golf
More than a decade after their highly publicized fallout, Charles Barkley says he and Michael Jordan are finally moving toward reconciliation.
During a recent appearance on SiriusXM’s “Mad Dog Unleashed,” Barkley revealed that the two NBA icons have reconnected and are already making plans to spend time together.
“We had a conversation,” Barkley shared. “We’re going to get together and play golf as soon as basketball is over.”
The update marks a major shift in their relationship, which had been strained for years after Barkley publicly criticized Jordan’s tenure as owner of the Charlotte Hornets.
Reflecting on the fallout, Barkley previously said Jordan “went ballistic” over the remarks, recalling their last heated exchange: “He called me and the last thing I heard was ‘Motherf*cker, f*ck you. You’re supposed to be my boy.’ I said ‘Man, I gotta do my job.’”
Despite the tension, Barkley made it clear their bond never fully disappeared. “We’ve always had a lot of love for each other,” he said, adding, “We’re not like Prince William and Prince Harry.”
Barkley, who once called Jordan his “best friend,” has long expressed interest in repairing the friendship. Now, with plans to reunite on the golf course, it appears the two legends may finally be turning the page.
Are you happy to see these two make amends?
